Transitional Facilities

We have MAF approved transitional facilities for unloading sea containers available for our storage customers in Auckland at our Ellerslie, Mt Roskill and North Shore facilities and in Wellington at our Newlands facility.

When sea containers are imported into New Zealand, there are a number of requirements that must be met to comply with MAF biosecurity standards.  Imported sea containers must be opened and devanned at a transitional facility in the presence of a MAF biosecurity official or an accredited person.
