I was most impressed with Kiwi Self Storage Ellerslie. Peter and Carolyn-the managers were friendly and great to deal with. They answered my questions that I had during initial set up. The unit was clean and tidy. There were trolleys to load your possessions on to and there was a lift that would take your items to the level in which your storage unit was on. Excellent security to get to storage unit. Highly recommend this storage facility.
As a newbie at the whole storage thing, I can highly recommend Kiwi self storage in Ellerslie. Peter & Carolyn have always been really friendly and super helpful. They have a trailer that can been used which is handy and showed me how to attach it. The place is secure and clean, easy access and plenty of trolleys etc. Go around Xmas time and there's free mince pies too!

We have no hesitation in recommending Kiwi self storage. Although we only had our storage unit for 6 months, in that time we found the staff very supportive and helpful. I was a first time storage user and didn't know where to start. I rung around trying to find the cheapest storage facility for quality. After making numerous phone calls and enquiries to a variety of storage facilities, Kiwi Self Storage were by far the cheapest. I am also part of an organisation where we are affiliated with a storage facility and have a discount and they were still cheaper. After being shown around, I was instantly impressed with the cleanliness, cost (Including insurance) and security of Kiwi Self Storage. I initially signed up in a large unit and used their complimentary trailer (saving a good $30-$70) to move everything in. After about a year, we downsized to a smaller unit. This process was super easy with the helpful staff who helped us with the transition. After a few more years we got into our own place and needed to get our things out. The staff were super helpful again and made the finalising of the unit super easy and stress free. Throughout the time of being with Kiwi Self Storage, we never had any issues and felt we were always informed on any changes (like when it changed hands) and all our belongings came out as good as they were the day they went in, especially our art work we had stored away. We are so happy and impressed with how we were treated and the extra mile the staff always went to help us. I highly recommend these guys if you need quality beyond the cost you pay for a self storage company, and if we ever need storage again, we will be back in a heart beat.
Most storage companies offer the same product. A lock up with access. What makes Kiwi Self Storage at Kilbirnie different for me was the staff. Helpful, responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend using this company for your local storage, whether long term on a short need.

The storage facility is clean and safe. Easy access with ample parking is available, plentiful carts to transport boxes to and from the unit. Friendly staff and good rates. I was impressed throughout the year I used Kiwi Storage and will use them again if I have anything to store.

Centrally located and close to the motorway. The storage area is easily accessible, clean and tidy. The managers are extremely helpful, well organised and pleasant to deal with. When we need storage again it will be our first stop.
Storage with clean, dry, alarmed 24hr access with friendly staff.
These guys were great! They run a tight ship - the facility is always spotless and extremely well organised. My family used it for several months while transitioning between homes and sorting furniture etc. The manager was always extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room alarms are great and pin/entry controlled, which made it all feel more secure. It's not super cheap, but to be honest, apart from that I can't really fault it.
Good clean units and the owners are great - pretty straight up and very accommodating.

I've used Kiwi Self Storage in Kilbirnie several times over the years, for periods of up to twelve months. I've always felt that my things were completely secure, the rates fair, and the facility extremely well looked after. I will definitely use them again if I have the need!

Since downsizing to a smaller home in 2016 I was ready to sell off my extra furniture and let go of my workshop tools and toys such as Mountain bikes and skis so I hired one of Kiwi Storage lock-up units and this has been perfect knowing my gear is secure warm and dry.
Thank you for clean and dry storing of my effects but also helping out with storing the many boxes for Fabricabrac Wellington. Always helpful and the use of a bookable free trailer was handy.
Couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough (Northshore) - from the beginning they were so helpful and gave me a great deal. I had 2 storage units for 20 months and even through the flooding and cyclones - all my storage was safe and dry. Nothing was ever too difficult for them and they were always happy to help. You don’t need to look any further - go with these guys!
I embarked upon an extensive home interior renovation about 9 months ago & needed to substantially clear the house of furniture and effects: Kiwi Self Storage provided the ideal solution. This facility is safe, secure, clean, dry and readily accessible: however the glue that holds all this together is that the facility has Resident Managers - and that, for me, was what made the real difference. Peace of mind is priceless! Jane and Allan are extremely welcoming & helpful; and give the impression that they personally care about their customers and their customer's stuff: actually, it is more than an impression - they do care! As my project waxed and waned, I needed extra space and Jane and Allan were quick to come up with cost effective and convenient solutions, with minimal need for any re-location or double-handling. I can recommend Kiwi Self Storage @ Mt Roskill without hesitation or reservation.

Kiwi Storage are excellent. They have great storage options available and are responsive with their communication. Having someone on-site is a bonus. They also offer packaging for storage to protect items - the mattress covers were worth it. We can’t recommend them highly enough if you are looking for storage space.

I went to have a look at the facility as I will need to store my furniture long term in the near future. The units themselves were clean and roomy. The site is surprisingly big although it is easy to get around with my car. There is several security gates and cameras all over the place. The site overall appears to be well looked after, in fact it was the cleanest storage facility I have ever been to. The man and women at the desk went out of their way to answer my questions and were friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I would feel comfortable storing my things in for long periods of time.

We had a storage space at Kiwi Self Storage Northland for six months. We didn't know when our container would arrive. Kiwi Self Storage helped us calculate the sufficient but smallest storage space. Payment / contract started with the arrival of the items in the warehouse. Communication was always friendly and helpful. When we moved out, the warehouse was opened by Kiwi Self Storage for our moving company without our presence. All communication took place via email. The final billing was carried out on a daily basis. I can't imagine any better storage. Thank you doubleChris and everyone else for our smooth start in NZ.

Roger got back to me ASAP and I was able to secure a container on the day of moving out of my flat. They even offer a free trailer to help move things out of your house so if you’ve got the strength, you don’t actually need to hire movers/van! They were so amazing and took a lot of stress off my hands - highly recommend! Everyone I dealt with was super lovely and accommodating to my needs as well - I’m stoked with finding this place!

Easy process of moving in, clean facility and friendly staff
Staff were very helpful. I was moving to Wellington and my boxes were arriving before I could be in Wellington. I arranged to have the moving company deliver to Kiwi Storage with no problems.
So accommodating and helpful, the location was spot on, security great and serviced our exact needs
